Andy Kunasek

Andy Kunasek is a principal with Arizona Strategies, a land use strategy and real estate development company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Andy oversees a diversified portfolio of clients including major real estate developments in the West Valley. He provides expertise to clients in areas including utilities and energy, transportation, waste management, commercial real estate, economic development, and municipal finance. In addition to his work with Arizona Strategies, Kunasek leads Mercado Management, a diversified land acquisition and real estate management company, and owns interest in a number of enterprises ranging from agricultural to solid waste disposal.

Prior to joining Arizona Strategies, Andy Kunasek served as a Maricopa County Supervisor (District 3) from 1997 to 2016. During his time at the County, Andy worked to acquire and preserve open spaces for construction of hiking trails and preservation of open space throughout our beautiful Sonoran desert.

An avid outdoorsman, Andy enjoys hunting, camping, and hiking and enjoys traveling with his family. He and his wife, Kim, have called Paradise Valley “home” for over 20 years.
