Rene Romero

Rene Romero grew up in Paradise Valley after his family moved from Louisiana in 1966. One of eight siblings, he was raised in a close-knit family rooted in strong values and community spirit. With his wife Theresa and mother Baby Kay, he co-founded Baby Kay’s Cajun Kitchen, later expanding it with help from his siblings. Rene has been active in local organizations like Arizona Ducks Unlimited, the Scottsdale 20-30 Club, and the Scottsdale Charros, and has been a member of Valley Presbyterian Church for over 30 years.
